Tuesday was a beautiful day for a wedding, and what a beautiful wedding it was!

We met Kelsea early this year after she won the Bella Carta Studios gift certificate at the Wedding Expo in January. We've enjoyed getting to know Kelsea over the months and were excited to finally meet Jeremiah. Kelsea and Jeremiah had a beautiful, elegant ceremony at the Delta. They opted to have their photos taken before the ceremony, so we set up a "first look" so they could have a special moment to see each other before things got rolling. After this quiet moment, the day really flew by.

Thanks Kelsea, for explaining the significance behind the various ceremonies and details of the day. With your guidance we were able to truly capture your story from behind our lenses. We wish you and Jeremiah all the best in your new life together in Missouri. Mazel tov!

Regina Wedding Photography | Maegan + Ryan

Maegan and Ryan's wedding was last Saturday, and we had such a great time shooting at some awesome locations around Regina.  The weather couldn't quite make up it's mind - raining one minute, clear and cool the next, and hot and sunny the next - but everything worked out for the locations we had chosen.

We couldn't believe it on Saturday morning, when we heard that due to some manufacturing/tailoring problems, Maegan had been shopping for a new wedding gown TWO DAYS before the wedding!  I'm sure that was an incredibly stressful situation to be in, but by the time Saturday rolled around, Maegan was in great spirits and back to being the bubbly person we've gotten to know over these past few months! (Her new gown looked FABULOUS, by the way...as you'll see below ;)

Congratulations again, guys! We hope you had a super time in Mexico!

Regina Engagement Photography | Amanda + Teale

"The quirkier the better." That's what Amanda and Teale said when we first met with them earlier this year and discussed what type of photography speaks to them.  As they described the funky, fun engagement shoot they had in mind, we got more and more excited, because it was exactly the type of shoot we'd been wanting to set up for quite awhile. We couldn't wait to work with these two and were ecstatic when the weather finally cleared up long enough for us to make our ideas come to life. Thanks Amanda and Teale for giving us such a unique opportunity. We hope you love the images and we're looking forward to your big day in February!

Saskatchewan Wedding Photography | Melissa + Chris

The bride was sitting anxiously as she got her hair styled. "I'm really nervous," she said quietly. "Of course you are!" exclaimed one of her bridesmaids. "Have you seen how long the aisle is at that church?! It's like Westminster Abbey!"

This is just one example of how Chris, Melissa and their wedding party had us laughing all day. We had such a great time with them last weekend in Ituna. It was a rainy Saturday, but the clouds cleared long enough for us to get some great shots of the happy couple and their crew. 

Melissa and Chris, thanks so much for letting us be part of your wedding day - we had so much fun with you guys (it's not often that a bride and her bridesmaids spontaneously start trampolining!) We wish you guys all the best - congratulations again!
