Saskatchewan Wedding Photography | Contest! Flowers! Yay!

I love photographing flowers. I love that I can appreciate the colours, textures and details of flowers without having any clue what type they are. Just last week I learned that the puffy pink flowers I love are peonies (I swear my Aunt and my Grandmother got a chill as I typed that). We photographed so many beautiful flowers this year. There were all different colours and styles, and they were all gorgeous.

To pay homage to our favourite flowers of 2011, Brandi and I thought it would be fun to have a contest. View the photos below and tell us in the comment section which bouquet is your favourite (please vote by stating the number listed above the photo you're voting for - as mentioned above, I'm a floral illiterate). If you prefer, you can also vote on our facebook page. Please only vote once! One lucky participant and the winning bride will both receive a beautiful arrangement of flowers I can't name courtesy of Bella Carta Studios. Brides, feel free to vote for yourself. I know I would!

Regina Family Photography | The Chambers Fam

I wanted to do some pictures with my whole family this fall, but it was no easy task finding a date and time that worked for everyone, given that there are 3 shift workers' schedules to take into consideration.  After looking at everyone's calendars for the month of October, I found a lone Sunday morning where I could get everyone together for about an hour. And I wasn't accepting any sob stories about Evan's birthday party having been the night before, ha ha! Luckily Kristen was flexible enough to make that work for her as well, and we headed down to the park... Thanks for the awesome photos, K!

Me and my brothers... not sure what was so funny here, but I thought it was a fun photo!

I laugh every time I look at these.  They thought they were so funny:

And last but not least, my lovely parents.  Look mom, you're famous! :)

Regina Family Photographers | The Sandercocks

Last weekend we had three awesome family shoots, one of which was with the Sandercocks. These kids were cute. Like super cute. Within a minute of meeting one of the boys, he described each member of his family and explained to me why he and his brother were twins. Despite the slight discrepancies between his explanation and what I learned in high school Biology class, I was completely won over by the end of his story. The twins had us laughing through the whole shoot as they gave us a glimpse into life at the Sandercock house. They have boundless energy, but pause occasionally to share important news like, "We listen to our teacher's words." These kids are gems.

Michelle and Kevin, we had so much fun with your family. Brandi and I fell in love with your kids, which is saying a lot when you consider Brandi's irrational fear of children (just kidding...kind of :). Thanks for giving us the opportunity to work with you - we hope you love the photos!

What better way to end a photoshoot than with giant, sugary lollipops? :)

Regina Family Photographers | Baby G and crew

Baby G is turning one this month! We were so excited when Brad and Steph asked us to take one year photos. I can't believe how much this little guy has grown since the last time we worked with him HERE. Baby G was a model baby model - he smiled, he laughed - he was pretty much perfect.

Thanks so much for letting us spend a beautiful Saturday morning playing with you guys. Happy birthday, G!
